I don't believe that is the case because of the lack of a post screen. I don't get a post now at all and the indicator light on the front is red which according to this link, suggest the OS is dead. I tied to solder the capacitor back on with help from one of my mates but I believe now that it banjaxxed. When I was putting the unit back together and adding the backplane back in I knocked off one of the capacitors. Now I have opened this unit up before to add one of these VGA adapters which has been extremely useful when changing the OS. I used this method to open up the unit.
